MRS. MCNAMEE'S MISSION STATEMENT:

I became a teacher to help inspire young people to rise to their full educational potential while learning to become compassionate, motivated and productive citizens.  In my classroom, we work to "BEE" the positive change we wish to see in the world.  My goal for all of my students is for them to feel safe, welcome and excited to come to school.  We will work very hard to build a strong sense of community within our classroom so all students can learn and grow successfully.  I am looking forward to an inspiring year full of learning, laughing and working together.

 

OTHER FUN FACTS  

• This will be my 9th year teaching 3rd grade at Denton Elementary School.

• I am originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

• I live in Easton with my husband George (he's a teacher too!) and my three year old son Jacob.

• I LOVE THE PITTSBURGH STEELERS!

• Third grade is my favorite grade because MY favorite teacher growing up was my third grade teacher.  It is also a grade with many changes and exciting challenges.

• In my spare time I like to watch any Pittsburgh sports team, read, learn more about technology, do crafts, go to the theater and hangout with family and friends.

• I always try to keep an open, positive attitude and I live by the "golden rule".
